Ranchi:Easter Monday was a historic day for Manresa House as it organized a wonderful picnic at Muri Parish. It became historic because many of the Manresa inmates had first chance to visit this place. Fr James V. Dungdung, the Parish Priest was magnanimous enough to give space to celebrate this picnic. Sisters from Bharat Mata and Ursuline Muri joined in the picnic and doubled our joy.

It was one day Easter picnic long planned by Minister and Co. Thanks to Loreto Convent for providing us their bus for our easy and smooth transport to the place.

Muri parish was started by Fr Demoulder in late 1972 and is situated at the foot of the rocky mountain beside busy Muri Railway Station and Hindalco Aluminium Factory. Presently two Jesuit members are there ably assisted by OSU sisters in running the Parish and School.

This picnic was a beautiful occasion not only to share the delicious meal but also to share Easter Joy and fellowship with one another.
