It was indeed a gracious occasion for Ranchi Jesuits when Fr Ajay Arun Minj, SJ pronounced his Final Profession in the Society of Jesus on January 13, 2022 during the Solemn Holy Eucharist held at St Xavier's College, Auditorium. The Final Profession ceremony started at 4.30 pm. A very good number of Jesuits, other religious and the laity gathered for the occasion. Fr Ajit Kumar Xess SJ, the provincial, presided over the Holy Eucharist and received the Final Profession of Fr Ajay Arun Minj, while many priests - Jesuits and others- con-celebrated on this great occasion and witnessed the profession.

Currently, Fr Ajay is the Vice-Principal of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. He joined the Society of Jesus in 1997 and took his First Profession in 1999. After long 25 years of formation and probation on this day he was able to make his Final Commitment in the Society. With this he became the full member of the Society of Jesus. Congratulations Fr Ajay and wish you all the very best for a meaningful committed life in the Society of Jesus.
